Hi Sir. Hope you're doing well.
I have a query for my brother. He has been an average student throughout his school and college:
10th ICSE= 65%
12th ISC= 68%
B.Sc. (Hons) Hardware and Networking= 69.30%
M.Sc. Advanced Networking and Cyber Security= 86.36%
He has one year of work experience in BPO and sales as there is a lack in his job sector and here in India the unemployment is very high.
Now he wants to make a career shift and switch to MBA due to reasons like growth. But we come from a very humble background, so we cannot afford all the expenses related to study abroad unless there is a full or at the least partial scholarship available. He wants to take the GMAT exam and he is determined to crack it and then we are thinking to reach out to reliable consultancies like yours. But till then he is stressed about the money. Could you kindly suggest, that despite being an average student, but by cracking GMAT with a good score, will he stand a good chance to get into top B-schools of the world (preferred with scholarships)?
We are really planning to reach out to you for application processes after the GMAT is done with, but the financial decisions are hard to take, hence, if you could take some time out and answer this, it will be very much appreciated.

I saw your reference on a site as i was digging into some MBA articles and mostly was confused about age barriers in MBA. I am a 27 year old currently working as a structural engineer and wanted to switch my career into finance for better interest and growth. While searching about it my main concern was if i take admission at 28 or 29 and get graduated at 30 or 31 will it affect my job opportunities?

About me:
I have done my BTech from tier 3 college in India and I am working as a software developer for the past 3.5 years. I have taken a few considerable initiatives (in terms of product development) in my company as well as participated in CSR activities and hackathons.
During my grad I have actively participated in various activities like organizing a cultural fest, leading a social entrepreneur project under Enactus, and leading communication chair for the ASQ student chapter, etc.
During my high school always I was a part of a youth awareness club in the capacity of vice president. I have a few other considerable achievements as well.
Scores 10th-> 10CGPA 12th-> 92.6% Grad- 8.67 CGPA/10
I am interested in pursuing Product management post MBA. How would you rate my profile? Currently, I am preparing for GMAT, what should be my target score, and whether should I go for US MBA? if yes what rank college should I target considering I am looking out for a scholarship.

Messed up CAT 2020 .Fed up with non standard approch.Even it's normalisation .Please don't ask percentile.I am 25yrs old.
Wanted to do MBA in Top college A,B,C for brand to offset my mediocre UG btech in ECE 2017 passed out. Academics till UG is (9/9/8) profile. NC- OBC (Not sure if 2021 I could get that certificate)
2017 campus placed Since then pursuing job in automotive and 3yrs by July 20.And no satisfaction in work and pay.
Preperation wise I done well and enjoy every moment and I knew I can perform better.I am having inclination to come consulting/product manager.
So my only weights are Considering for Brand and peer network alumni and long term prospects —
Please suggest me 3 options (Finance is not problem) I currently have –
1.Immediately switch job you aspire and do GMAT + CAT.
2.Persist in same company give GMAT.
3.Resign Job, stick to a time frame you make it in GMAT.
4.Any customised plan you suggest

Hi, I have been going through your informative videos and they have been of great help, I had a question since I am unable to find any video on the same, can you help me with the MFin programme by LBS whether it is suited for someone working in data analytics for three years along with having a CFA level1, since the batch has people with a very high numbers of work experience and that too very specifically in finance domain only. I had no significant academic exposure and no good job exoerience. As i want to get into consulting. I am concerned about whether to work for few more years and get MBA or go for MiM or Masters in Finance from good b school and get some exp and get MBA from elite institution later.
@MBA Crystal Ball Sir I had a question. Does an online Masters degree in data science from a reputed college like Michigan Ross affect our chances of getting admitted to a fulltime MBA at a top B-school? And If so how?
Coursera allows us to enroll for a Masters degree at Michigan through their online platform I think…but I'm not sure how that will affect our chances. if the plan is to get a degree in tech & a degree in business (fulltime) …is it a good idea to spend 30-40 laks on an online tech degree from Ross, Columbia, HES, etc and then apply for the MBA or spend the exact amount on a residential fulltime tech degree from a decent college and then apply for the MBA(both in fulltime)? Also what are your thoughts on the fulltime Masters in Design Engineering from Harvard's Graduate Scool of design (based on their website it requires candidates to have technical skills like coding & data science, artistic skills, business knowledge -The curriculum states that it focuses on driving innovation and applying principles such as design thinking and let's students take up a wide range of electives from data science, design, tech, business & economics, social and political studies etc. Candidates should be willing to study different fields of study). So how competitive is this degree and how is the ROI?

I have already pursued PGDM in marketing (Equivalent to MBA) working in FMCD industry for more than 1.5 years in sales but not really satisfied with my package and compensation i am getting because i did my PGDM from tier 3 college from Pune and i had a huge expectations where i was in college days but the reality was different for all the students.
This way i can't see my career and after 5 years i don't see following the same path because that's not something i had ever though of doing.
Now i have planned to do Master's from outside India in marketing… MBA would cost me more than Master's and i have to look for that too..i am looking for Jan'21 intake in UK.
As you replied on other post that master's after MBA is eye raising… Then what am i suposed to do? Following the same mediocre life with the same job or something like this?
