lol bro isn’t allow to sell annuities so he trashes them so you buy his products instead 🤣
And now annuities are making anywhere from 5-7% right now
🤣 they did exactly what you asked them to you were scared of the volatility and didn’t want to be exposed to it so they put you into a annuity which has no volatility or if it’s a index annuity the index you are tracking usually has a 5%-10% annualized volatility target built in
Hi Dave. The lady mentioned pension annuity. So i believe shes already retired. So she's earning monthly annuity for the rest of her life. not what you are describing which is insurance related.. pension annuities don't have surrenders.
So where's the comprehensive explanation of "What Is An Annuity And How Does It Work"
If you lose 10% one year and then gain 10% the next you don't recoup like Dave suggests here. It might be close but the gain will be less than the original 10% you lost because the base is lower for the gain than it was for the loss.
The definition starts at 3:18
She gets it back in around 2 Years…
I would sew them for selling her a financial product that she was not properly educated on.
My wife and I are considering putting half of our retirement fund into an annuity. We would get an instant $1,000 monthly raise guarantied payment for as long as either one us lives. The other half would be invested and we would only withdraw out it in plus years or in an emergency. That would be our kids' inheritance.
Great info. Now I need to understand how the annuity that is tied up in my husband's union works. From what I can tell it's a variable.
How does an IUL works? Thanks
5:13 btw, fixed annuities are paying >5% right now and absolutely make sense for retirees seeking fixed income. It pays higher than CD’s and you have the ability to kick the taxes down the road forever through tax deferral and 1035 exchanges
I agree they don’t make sense when rates were under 2% but they make sense today
What a moron.
I wouldn’t take this boobs advice about the weather.
You are so wrong. Five year fixed annuity. 5 %. Safe money no additional fees. He is so wrong.
Annuity is a great investment
10% return . lol ya right
So incredibly unhelpful. Didn't really explain much of anything at all.
What about index annuity ?
What bad advice
When older people just want a grantee stream of income, a fixed annuity is the right product. You cannot say a fixed annuity is never the right thing that is not true
Yes annuities is really conservative and really low percent so I see what he saying
