  2. Slight correction: saturated fatty acids aren't full of carbon, but rather of hydrogen. The double bonds decrease the number of bonded hydrogen atoms, not the number of carbon atoms.

  3. 00:50 they're staurated because they're full of hydrogen, not full of carbon… You create a saturated fat from an unsaturated fat by hydrogenation, i.e. adding hydrogen. This is how you make margarine and why they're call hydrogenated vegetable fats.

  4. Number one thing is to stay away from seed oils which are loaded with omega 6 if you are going to start taking omega 3 stay away from seeds oils and you body and mind will thank you

  5. Most supplemental fish oil are sitting on the shelf too long and oxidize becoming rancid, I get mine from wild caught salmon, tuna and sardines. I wouldn’t touch any farm raised fish. They are sick and full of antibiotics! Should get your nutrients from real food, not supplements…

  6. Today May 21st 2024, the Internet is telling us that fish oil supplements are bad for the heart. And the miracle olive oil, is bad for you because of the air that is trapped inside the bottle and it oxidizes and ruins the product. WTF!!!

  7. Fish do not make Omega 3 in their body. Fish get their Omega 3 from eating Algae. So why take fishy Fish Oil that goes rancid. Take what the fish take, Omega 3 Algae Oil. Nordic Naturals sells this type of product along with other companies. But don't take over 1000 mg a day because high dose Omega 3 can cause Afib. You don't want Afib.
