  1. Nice picks! I tried many too until I discovered BeLikeNative. Its Chrome extension helps me translate and learn natural phrases across 80+ languages with high accuracy, highly recommend!

  2. Incredible that you did not include Languatalk which has the best chatbot in the market and uses the superior Elevenlabs voices with different Spanish dialects, e.g., Colombia vs. Spain vs. Mexico.

  3. BeLikeNative is the only tool I kept using after trying so many others because it actually helps me learn faster. With BeLikeNative, I translate, fix grammar, and sound more natural in every new language.

  4. Is shiken gamefied ? I learn from constant testing šŸ™

    – i love duolingo but I hate it as the words and sentences you learn are useless and also there is no speaking and that's the best way i think to really learn as well. it's also sooo woke šŸ™

  5. I have been learning Italian for about 4 years on Duolingo. This past year I have added German, Spanish and Chinese, three languages that I have had previous experience with, but only at about a 14 level (in Duolingo parlance). I’m thinking of switching apps, wanting to add AI. What would you recommend in my case?

  6. Duolingo was an absolute blast, until I ran into a listening practice where a female passenger was talking to the taxi driver about her…wife! No, thank you.

  7. I tried both langua and talkpal for learning greek. Talkpal is quite buggy and often wrong . Langua seems to have way more features (like tapping on a word to translate, suggested rephrase, etc. they both have "explain feedback" but in talkpal it was wrong most of the time.

That said langua is expensive, thats why i came here šŸ˜…

  8. I use Mondly for both German and Italian. I find it works better with Italian because Italian has only 2 genders. German has 3 genders. When in German, when using the indefinite article, how can you be sure the object is either masculine or neuter? Works best with 2 genders from my experience.
