  1. Natrol creates a liquid melatonin that has helped me use low dose melatonin. The normal dose is 4x 1ml droppers to be 1mg, but that means each dropper is ~0.25mg. The larger bottle is 10ml at a dose of 2.5mg, but if you calculate the concentration, it’s the same as the smaller dropper bottle. So, I refill the dropper with the larger bottle and then I’m able to take 0.25mg doses of melatonin

  2. My sleep was 8 to 9 hours but now my sleep is 5 hours is it normal because when I awake up I don't feel fresh I feel like I need to sleep more but I can't even if I tries my best to sleep

  3. I have ADHD and I've always had sleep issues; I vividly remember being awake for hours on end even as a baby (still in diapers). Being awake all night while everyone else is asleep has always been a theme in my life. I would only get sleepy in the early morning hours 3-6 a.m and I would end up sleeping in class- which led to me failing multiple classes in high school. I've smoked weed for a long time which helps me sleep, but effects me negatively in other ways. I've taken 3 mg of Melatonin before and it didn't do anything ! I thought it would make me sleepy but it didn't. I doubt taking a dose lower than 3 mg would do anything at all, especially not reset my clock. I don't know if my body even produces melatonin, I get more active at night naturally. What do I do?

  4. I have bpd 2 and I feel like I am in my hypomania no sleep stage right now. even after taking 10 mg of melatonin and other sleep aid (i can't spell it). For many nights, I can't sleep. how do I get healthy sleep but not depressed sleep?

  5. I tried taking melatonin. It worked at first. Then it started giving me nightmares. I may have been taking too much because I didn't know what they sell is too high.

  6. I have ADHD I have always slept 4-5 hrs. Since childhood, now as an adult with medication can sleep 6-6 1/2 hrs. If I go to sleep earlier I wake up earlier…I never get 7 or more hours of sleep, never feel rested, I just don't feel exhausted.

  7. Okay I got your point I should take a little amount of melatonin for resetting my circadian rhythm otherwise if I take in large amount it will make me drowsy in morning and will make my sleep schedule more irregular am I right

  8. I have bipolar disorder and my big issue is that I feel the most refreshed when I sleep between 23.00 and 08.00. I wake up at 05.20 on work days because work starts at 07.00. But on my days off I sleep until 08.00. It's the time between 05.00 and 08.00 I am mostly in REM sleep. I really need the REM sleep to regulate my mood and feel refreshed. It's really frustrating to live in a society catered to morning people.
