  1. Itch

    I identify itch.
Constant scratches to cure it now.
    Why it isn't going away?
Repeated rubbing burns my skin now.
Why there's so much of irritation?
No more scrubbing, it bleeds now.
Why it's spilling everywhere I try to catch?
Cut deepens, it's a flesh wound now.
Is there no way to stop it?
No answers, the screams inside ripping me now.
I have a solution for itch.
Two pieces of me, none of them alive now.

  2. Life is so fragile, yet not for the timeless one,
Witnessed kingdoms to empire — all risen and gone.
Unfazed by the numbers of years as it ticks,
Century feels like a day — goes by so quick.

  3. I could’ve then, I cannot now. Losing you without a vow.
Even though it’s been just a day, I think of you with just dismay. What if he is there, not I? Telling you to say goodbye.
I could’ve then, I cannot now. Losing you without a vow. I didn’t know what you meant to me, get him gone or set me free.

  4. I took a cup of tea,
watching the same old tree through the window.
    Its branches barely moved
just like my thoughts swirling through my head.

    I complained to him,
my words heavy with things unsaid.
    He looked at me,
    and with quiet certainty,
    he said,
    "You are a broken record,
playing the same sad tune over and over."

    Even the tree stood still,
    unbothered by my words,
like stars reflected on the surface of a river—
silent, distant, untouched by my thoughts.

  5. This is a beautiful reminder that poetry can be a lifeline, helping us make sense of our experiences and connect with ourselves and others on a deeper level. It's not about perfection, but about authentic expression. I'm feeling inspired to pick up my pen again!

  6. It's comforting to see so many sharing their hearts through poetry; a powerful reminder that vulnerability is strength and that even in our darkest moments, there's beauty to be found. This video is an encouragement to keep searching for those words, for ourselves and for others.

  7. The silence pricked my throat making me speechless,
Just like a bird trapped in a burning cage ,extremely hopeless.
That gentle smirk on your face as bright as a sunflower swaying in a bright weather
But the paleness in that face made it wither
Your favorite canvas and the paintbrushes still waiting to be picked
They however couldn't realize ,those hands won't come back again, forever slipped
From the clutches of the canvas and the cricket bat
To somewhere unknown where the phantoms rely
those who see but aren't seen high up in the endless sky
    However your presence still lies..
Within my mind in silent yet painful cries

  13. My eyes start to weep upon my bed. A lost soul deep within my head. A heavy weight, of a near and limited time. Oh god, help me. I dread to face this last unknown chime. (Not sure how good this was.)

  14. "Walked alone in rain,
    Soaked in tears of pain,
I looked for love in vain,
Found a heart with a broken chain.

    I danced in rain again,
Searching for love with no strain,
Found a smile that shone like a gain,
Healed my heart from love's sharp pain.

Stepped into love in open rain,
Felt the warmth of love's sweet refrain,
Dropped my fears like an autumn strain,
Embraced the love with no more pain.

Now I again walked through the rain,
Not alone, I walked with love in the rain,
Together we laughed, and danced, and played in the rain,
My heart shined brighter, with no more pain.
I spun, and twirled in rain,
    My heart was now sustained,
Forever and always, I thought my heart would get the sweetest gain.

"And finally she again left me with pain,
Now I walked alone through rain,
    Now I felt something different,
I walked with a calm, peaceful heart,
The rain washes away my torn apart,
No sorrow, no tears, no heart's sharp strain,
Just the sound of rain, and my footsteps' refrain.

The rain fell hard, but I stood tall,
No pain, no heartache, I've learnt to let go of it all,
    I walked alone,
but I'm not alone in pain,
I knew,I'm free to move on,
    and love again."<3

  15. Sometimes I blame myself for loaning my friend money to get his laptop out of the pawnshop so he could go in a tech job interview. He he overdosed 2017 New Year’s Eve. We can’t blame ourselves for the bad choices other people make. He was my favorite person to play guitar with . RIP Mike S.

  16. The girl, she was trying to become, is the one she made herself now.
The stronger she became, the lonely she got.
The scars, she tried to hide, became the shield to protect her.
The amount of blood she lost, the more fierce she became.
Misunderstood by the world, making her own kingdom, to become the fearless queen.
Remember she is going to rise through the ashes to burn down everything.
Having the thought of nothing left to loose, nothing is going to make her bleed.

  17. Potent with art
    Confident from the start
    You laughed always
    You joked always
    You rolled your eyes often
    You saw things unspoken
    Oh, my lighthearted friend
Kept your smile till the end
Even when your skull was broken
    Your soul remained unbroken
    Your heart open
