I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?

why bother with Dividend Yield? I want to know total dividend CASH yield base on number of shares held. How is cash yield/share calculated from only Dividend Yield for trailing twelve months and current stock price? Good info thanks.

So if a company states the dividend yield is 2% and paid quarterly, does that mean I will receive 2% four times in a year, or will the 2% be added each month of the year, but I will only recieve my total money quarterly–so 8% four times???

it sounds like your taking 10k and hitting the reset button, then you start at $500 again and have to wait for it to build back up and keep going. it might take awhile but i guess it could work.
