  1. Great stuff in here. LOVE the perishable food/pipeline analogy!!! That is priceless.
    However, I'd argue the 'don't hire a salesperson' comment. If you have well targeted prospects and are only closing 10%, you're getting fired. In my experience, 80/20 has been a very solid expectation for even average salespeople and a pro should be able to do that for you. Hire a salesperson willing to learn and understand the product and the problems it solves.
